Michael Basayne MBA is an experienced business advisor and entrepreneur with a strong background in financial management and strategic planning. Currently serving as a Certified Business Advisor at the Sonoma Small Business Development Center since April 2009 and as the Lead Certified Business Advisor at the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center since January 2019, Michael also holds the position of CEO at Wine Country Planning Services since April 2001. Previous roles include Regional Business/Financial Advisor at NorCal SBDC Finance Center and Regional Director/Principal at The Rainier Group. Michael has extensive experience in commercial banking, having served as Senior Vice President/Commercial Banking Manager at Umpqua Bank. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California, and has completed graduate studies at the UW Foster School of Business in finance.
