Jason Peressini has worked in various roles in the software engineering field since 2009. Jason began their career as a Software Developer at Abraxas Energy Consulting in 2009. Jason then moved to Systech Corporation in 2012, where they were an Embedded Software Engineer. In 2016, they became Lead Firmware Engineer at Immersive Media, where they designed and developed drivers to allow their cameras to interface with control software on host computing machines, as well as developing firmware that ran on microprocessors inside the cameras and on external dedicated hardware systems. In 2018, they moved to Sigma Design, Product Design and Engineering as a Firmware Engineer. Most recently, they have been working as Lead Firmware Engineer at Sonetics since 2021.

Jason Peressini obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2007 and 2012.
