Colleen Mahr serves as the Administrator for Somerset County, NJ, since October 2020 and has held the position of Mayor for the Borough of Fanwood since January 2004, currently in a sixth term as of January 1, 2024. Mahr is also a candidate for Union County Democratic Committee Chair and has served as Director of Business Development at DMR Architects and Vice Chair of the Union County Democratic Committee. Mahr's leadership experience includes roles as President of the New Jersey League of Municipalities and the New Jersey Conference of Mayors. Previous positions include Economic Development Coordinator for the Borough of Roselle and roles in housing and economic development in Jersey City. Colleen Mahr holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Rosemont College and a Master of Arts in Communications from Seton Hall University.
