Georgios Georgiou currently serves as the Global Head of IT Operations and Lab IT at Solvias, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Georgios was the Head of Bioinformatics and Software Development at Cergentis from December 2020 to May 2024, focusing on emerging technologies to enhance business processes and defining the technical strategy for IT infrastructure. Experience includes positions at Viroclinics Biosciences BV from August 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities encompassed project management for ICT projects, budget oversight, and development of customized software applications. Georgios began career as a PhD Researcher at Radboud University Nijmegen from March 2013 to June 2017, and holds advanced degrees in Bioinformatics and Computing Science from prestigious universities.
