Olivier Smekens has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Olivier currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of soluz.io since October 2019. In December 2020, they founded TriToChange. Additionally, they hold the position of Bestuurder at Baan Vier vzw and Triatlon Vlaanderen since January 2022 and December 2020, respectively. Furthermore, they are the Co-Founder of Mojid Bands since September 2015. Prior to these roles, they founded Panta Rei Ventures in April 2008. Olivier also worked as a Senior Strategy Advisor at KBC Bank & Verzekering from July 2019 to September 2019. Olivier has a background in business transformation, having served as the Director of Business Transformation at CSOB from January 2018 to July 2019 and as the Head of Corporate Segment and Structured Finance at CSOB Slovakia from September 2012 to January 2018. Notably, they also held the position of President at the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce from January 2008 to September 2012.

Olivier Smekens began their education at Koninklijk Atheneum Keerbergen, although the specific dates and degrees earned are not provided. Later on, they attended the University of Antwerp from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in TEW with a focus on International Management. Moving forward, Olivier enrolled at BI Norwegian Business School from 1996 to 1997 to complete a MSc in Financial Economics with a specialization in Corporate Finance.
