Sarita Velásquez Beltrán is a legal professional with extensive experience in securities and financial law. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Solactive AG since April 2021, Sarita has held various positions including Specialized Lawyer and Leader Lawyer at bvc-Bolsa de Valores de Colombia S.A from August 2016 to August 2019, and Lawyer at Asobolsa and the Securities Self-Regulatory Authority (AMV). Sarita began the legal career as an intern at the Legal Clinic of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. In terms of education, Sarita holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from Leibniz Universität Hannover, along with an LL.M candidacy in Information and Communication Technology Law from the University of Oslo. Additionally, Sarita completed a specialized program in Capital Markets Law, Finance and Capital Markets Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where a law degree was also obtained.
