Sander Boerema has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Sander started their career at Sogeti Nederland BV as a (Lead) Software Engineer and later worked as a Program Manager/Project Manager and Manager RVO Sales. Sander then joined Atos Origin as an Executive Manager Sourcing Sales, responsible for deal strategy and lead sales. After that, they worked at Platform Outsourcing Nederland as a Member of the Committee for European Public Procurement, focusing on discussions and market transparency. Sander also worked at Perzival Consulting as a Partner, specializing in growth-driven transformations. Currently, they are working at Sogeti as the Head of Risk Management, Compliance, and Security, overseeing risk mitigation, operational compliance, and cyber-security implementation. Sander also served as the Head of Strategic Deals and as a Bid Director, managing strategic bids and ensuring proposal quality.

Sander Boerema completed a Bachelor's degree in Airline Transport Pilot from the International Aviation Academy from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Kamerlingh Onnes College from 1986 to 1993, where they completed their VWO degree. Additionally, Sander has obtained various certifications including a Commercial Pilot Licence CPL/ME/IFR from the Federal Aviation Administration and certifications in Metaplan® Moderation, Prince2 Project Management, and European Procurement Legislation.
