Steven De Vlaminck has extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, at Sofico since September 2017, Steven focuses on product improvements for the Miles Core Platform. Prior to this, roles included Senior Java Developer at unitNL, where focus was placed on code quality, and Java Team Leader positions at DIOSS and into it. Steven's earlier experience encompasses software engineering at Newtec, with work on satellite communication systems, and leadership roles at Certipost, emphasizing architectural design and mentoring. Additional roles in Java development include positions at Aditel N.V. and Proximus. Steven holds a degree in Industrial Engineering Electronics with an option in ICT from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent.
