Alicia Schuessler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in non-profit and association management within the medical and scientific communities. Currently serving as the Associate Executive Director and Director of Education at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer since July 2016, Alicia previously held the position of Associate Executive Director for both the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy and the American Venous Forum from June 2014 to July 2016. Alicia's career also includes significant roles at the Society of Behavioral Medicine, where responsibilities ranged from Director of Administration to Senior Communications and Membership Manager, as well as positions at the National Anemia Action Council and Fun Services, Inc. Alicia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan in 2007.
