Tim Siegenbeek van Heukelom has over 14 years of professional experience in the fields of ESG, corporate strategy, public relations, business intelligence, corporate governance, and social impact. In 2021, they began their current role as Chief Impact Officer and Global Head of ESG at Socialsuite. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2021, they were the Head of Strategy & ESG at Helicopter Creative, where they provided strategic direction across the creative process and worked with clients on their ESG frameworks and reporting systems. From 2016 to 2017, they were the CEO & Head of ESG at Thousand Heroes, where they provided specialist services to companies in the areas of ESG strategy, reporting and credentials. From 2016 to 2016, they were the ESG Manager and Social Impact and ESG Specialist at PNG Biomass, where they supported the company across a range of sustainability areas. From 2012 to 2016, they held various roles at Oil Search Limited, including Head of Public Relations and Performance, Manager of Business Intelligence and Communication, and Program Analyst and Information Coordinator. From 2011 to 2011, they were the Program Coordinator at Pacific Friends of the Global Fund, where they managed the day-to-day affairs of the advocacy organisation. From 2011 to 2011, they were a Research Associate at the University of Nairobi, where they conducted doctorate research on a rice plantation development in west-Kenya. From 2009 to 2009, they were a Research Associate at The Lowy Institute for International Policy. From 2007 to 2007, they were a Project Assistant at World Legal Forum.

Tim Siegenbeek van Heukelom received their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Utrecht University in 2004, followed by a Master of Laws (LLM) from the same institution in 2007. Tim then moved to the University of Sydney, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Peace and Conflict Studies in 2009, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Security in 2013. Additionally, they have obtained three certificates from Coursera: Social Impact Strategy in 2017, Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship in 2015, and Nutrition for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in 2013.
