Rósbjörg Jónsdóttir serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Iceland Renewable Energy Cluster since April 2022, leading an organization that represents approximately 50 members in the geothermal and hydropower sectors. Simultaneously, Rósbjörg is a part-time teacher at the University of Iceland, engaged in various subjects including Corporate Sustainability for MBA students and acting as an advisor for undergraduate theses. As the Founder and Managing Director of Cognitio ehf, Rósbjörg focuses on business consulting and corporate event creation aimed at social improvements. Rósbjörg also holds board positions with the Iceland Eco-Business Park and previously with the Kolviður Fund and Fest, contributing expertise in environmental and corporate social responsibility. Additional roles include Project Manager for the Icelandic Aviation Cluster at Keilir Aviation Academy and past Chairman of the Board for Landvernd, an environmental NGO in Iceland. Rósbjörg’s educational background includes advanced degrees in Business Administration and Cluster Management from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and the University of Iceland.
