Marcelo Delajara is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in research and academia. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at The Anker Research Institute under Social Accountability International since May 2022, Marcelo also holds a position as a Consultor. As a Visiting Professor at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) since August 2015, Marcelo teaches Macroeconomics I and Advanced Macroeconomics, supervises undergraduate theses, and advises students on employment and graduate program admissions. Previously, Marcelo directed the Economic Growth and Labor Market Program at Centro de Estudios Espinosa Yglesias from March 2015 to May 2022 and worked at Banco de México in various roles, including Manager of Regional Economic Analysis and Statistical Support. Marcelo earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán.
