Damith Perera is a Senior Scientist at Snapdragon Chemistry since October 2018, previously serving as a Pfizer Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on Oncology Chemistry Synthesis at Pfizer in La Jolla, CA. Damith Perera has extensive experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University from July 2010 to February 2017, developing innovative methodologies in C–H borylation and photoredox chemistry. Additional roles include a Medicinal Chemistry Co-op at GSK in infectious disease R&D, a Research Associate at Merck utilizing automation for high-throughput screening, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Peradeniya. Damith Perera holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya.
