Production Coordinator
Position Overview:
Smosh is actively seeking a Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is essential in supporting our production efforts by managing logistics, schedules, and on-set operations, ensuring the smooth execution of our productions. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of Production.

Responsibilities:
Pre-Production Planning: Assist in the preparation and planning stages, including securing locations, arranging equipment rentals, and scheduling shoot days.
On-Set Coordination: Manage on-set operations, oversee crew communications, and ensure adherence to daily shoot schedules. Responsibilities also include occasionally running stages and acting as Assistant Director during livestreams to provide coverage and training.
Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation and accommodation for cast and crew as needed.
Resource Allocation: Ensure all departments are adequately equipped by managing the distribution and usage of production resources.
Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring production expenses and maintaining financial records in collaboration with the production manager.
Crew Coordination: Help book freelance crew and manage external and interdepartmental communications.
Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as scheduling meetings, taking notes during meetings, and generating check requests.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a production coordinator or similar role in media production.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
Skilled in using spreadsheet tools and other Google Applications.
Based in Los Angeles, with the ability to work on-site at SMOSH offices.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Capability to handle physical tasks as needed in a production setting.
Strong interest in and understanding of YouTube or digital media productions.
