Katie Parker's work experience includes a variety of roles at different companies. Katie started their career as a Packaged Meat Sales Intern at Smithfield Farmland in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Product Development/Product Integrity Intern at SwimWays. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Category Planner at Smithfield Foods. Katie then advanced to the role of Business Manager from 2013 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Director of Business Management at Smithfield Foods. Katie was subsequently promoted to Senior Director of Business Management in early 2022 before becoming Vice President of Business Management in August 2022.
Katie Parker obtained their M.A. degree in Economics from George Mason University in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at George Mason University, where they earned a B.S. degree in Economics with a minor in Business in 2011. Katie'seducation journey began at Western Branch High School, where they obtained an Advanced Studies Diploma in 2007.
