Sairish Akhtar has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. They started their career at Dextrosoft Pvt Ltd in 2012, where they worked as a Software Developer and tester, primarily focusing on software testing. They then moved on to Webzemini Software Pvt. Ltd, where they worked as a Software Developer, creating Windows applications for school management. In 2013, they joined IAP Pvt. Ltd. Under the guidance of NIC as a Software Programmer, developing Medical Counseling Software. In 2015, they joined IBM as a System Engineer, responsible for writing efficient code and documenting software functionality. They worked there until 2019. In 2020, they joined ISVSC - International Specialized Verification Services Co. as a System Developer. Currently, they are working as a Support Engineer at SMG - Service Management Group, starting in 2022.

Sairish Akhtar began their education in 2001 at St. Michael's Academy, where they obtained their Class X degree in Madhyamik in 2003. Sairish then attended B.G.M.G.H.S from 2003 to 2005 and obtained their High School degree in Pure Science. Following that, Sairish enrolled at Calcutta University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (HONS) degree in Mathematics Honours. In 2009, they joined the West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata and completed their Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Sairish has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner. In 2017, they earned certifications in C# Programming and became a Microsoft Certified Professional. Most recently, in 2018, they acquired the Retail Industry Foundations certification from IBM. Sairish has also completed the "Shaping up with Angular.js" course from Code School, though specific details regarding the obtained month and year for this certification are not provided.
