Juergen Zapf's work experience includes a recent role as a Product Manager at Smart Reporting GmbH since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GE Healthcare for over two decades. At GE Healthcare, they held various positions including Sr Technical Project Manager, Manager Technical Center of Excellence for EMEA, Manager Data Migration for EMEA, RIS Data Migration Champion for EMEA, System Integration Specialist for DACH, and Software Developer Radiology IT System. In these roles, they were responsible for leading international and intercultural Scrum teams, planning and implementing software product development, budget planning and control, technical and disciplinary responsibility for teams, definition and development of training programs, data integration, project planning and control, optimization and standardization of processes and tools, establishment of workflows and processes, programming, and support for complex projects.

Juergen Zapf completed their education between 1994 and 1999 at the University of Applied Sciences of Ulm, where they obtained a degree in Precision Engineering with a specialization in Medical Engineering. Additionally, they have acquired certification as a Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master from the Houston Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) in October 2020 and an ITIL Foundation Level certification from APMG International in January 2011.
