Dr. Nicco Tan

VP Of Customer Value Management at Smart Communications

Dr. Nicco Tan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dr. Nicco started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at IBM Global Business Services in 2007 and later became a Marketing Officer at Digitel Mobile Inc. In 2008, they joined Mercola where they held various roles including Supervisor - Email Marketing & Social Media, Digital Marketing Manager, and Sr. Manager. Dr. Nicco then worked as a Sr. Regional Marketing Manager at LivingSocial from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they became the Head of Marketing at Mudah.my Sdn Bhd, Malaysia's Largest Marketplace. Dr. Nicco joined Genting Malaysia Berhad in 2015 and served as the Vice President Marketing and Digital until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Customer Value Management at Smart Communications, Inc. starting in 2023.

Dr. Nicco Tan holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Asia e University, with a focus on Technology Adoption Models, Business, Commerce, Management, and Operations. Dr. Nicco also has a Master of Marketing Communications degree from De La Salle University, specializing in Marketing Communications. Additionally, Dr. Tan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ateneo de Davao University. Dr. Nicco is also certified as an Electronics and Communications Engineer by the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines.
