Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in electronics design and development. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and software development were key responsibilities. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
