Aakash Chawade currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Phenoyard since June 2020 and has been an Associate Professor at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences since September 2015. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at SLU and various research positions at Lund University, including Affiliated Researcher and PostDoc in Computational Proteomics. Aakash Chawade worked as a Research Scientist at CropTailor AB and held a PhD student position at the University of Gothenburg, where a scholarship for research assistantship was awarded. Aakash Chawade holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Gothenburg, an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Skövde, and a BSc in Genetics, Microbiology, and Chemistry from Osmania University.
