Luis Claro has extensive experience in strategic sourcing and management within the seafood industry. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at Slade Gorton & Co, Inc. since June 2018, Luis previously held the position of Strategic Sourcing Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Luis was the Country Manager at Pacific Seafood from January 2015 to June 2018 and worked as a Product Manager for the Agricultural and Livestock Sector at ProChile from January 2013 to June 2014. Educational credentials include a Negotiation Program completed at Harvard University in 2019, participation in the 2016 NFI Future Leaders Program at the National Fisheries Institute, and a degree from Universidad de los Andes in Chile earned between 2006 and 2011.
