Helena Kaikkonen is an accomplished education team lead and front-end team member at Husky Coding Project, where significant contributions include developing a website called Billboard that utilizes Spotify's Web API to engage users with their listening history. Currently, Helena is focused on designing a responsive web page for a new student organization. As a lead mentor for the Changemakers in Computing program at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, Helena develops socially conscious computer science curricula for high school students. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant for CSE 12X at the University of Washington and mentoring in the Changemakers in Computing program. Helena's background also includes participation in the Columbia Choirs of Metropolitan Seattle and the MIT Women's Technology Program in Mechanical Engineering. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Washington, Helena's academic journey began at Lake Washington High School.
