Elke Walthelm has been Executive Vice President Content and Managing Director at Sky Deutschland since February 2016. In this role, she is responsible for the overarching program strategy of Sky Deutschland. Her duties include the acquisition of programming rights, program planning, and the development of the On Demand offering. Furthermore, she oversees the further development of the Sky Film and Sky Entertainment channels and packages as well as the selection and development of original productions.

Walthelm has been with the company since 2005 and been managing business relations with all Sky partner channels as deputy of EVP Programming Gary Davey prior to joining the Executive Management Team. Before she came to Sky, Walthelm worked for strategic consultancy agency BBDO Consulting.
