Mara Kaplan is a Senior Operations Associate at SKDK, having previously served as an Administrative Support Coordinator at the U.S. House of Representatives under Representative Karen Bass. Prior to that, Mara worked as a Campus Organizer at One Campaign for Michigan and gained experience as an Intern at the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office. Additionally, Mara has held positions such as Campaign Intern at Elissa Slotkin for Congress, Student Intern at Students for Abdul, and Fellow at Democracy Summer Leadership PAC. Mara also has experience as a Swim Coach at Potomac Woods Swim Club Inc. Mara holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
