Amr Gomaa is a highly experienced researcher currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge, focusing on the usability of machine learning techniques for designers. As the Deputy Head of the Adaptive Interfaces and Dialogue Group at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), Amr Gomaa demonstrates strong supervisory and project management skills, leading a diverse team of researchers and securing funding for innovative projects. With a solid foundation in AI, HCI, and machine learning, demonstrated through roles as an AI & HCI Doctoral Researcher and Junior Researcher, Amr Gomaa has contributed to multimodal gesture recognition and computer vision applications across automotive, robotics, and sensor domains.
