Nicola Binetti is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at SISSA since January 2022, focusing on the neural basis of the overlap between time perception, motor planning, and motor learning. Previously, Binetti served as a Research Associate at Queen Mary University of London from January 2019 to December 2021, where research centered on facial expression recognition through evolutionary algorithms. Prior to that, Binetti conducted research at UCL from January 2012 to January 2020, exploring perceptual and cognitive constraints of Augmented Reality interfaces, temporal aspects of gaze behavior, and brain mechanisms of time perception. Binetti holds a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology from the same institution, alongside an International Baccalaureate from St. Stephen's School.
