Blanaid O'Regan's work experience begins in 1993 when they worked as an HR Officer at Bausch + Lomb. Blanaid then worked at 3Com as an HR Manager from 1996 to 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they were an HR Manager at HSBC, managing HR within a competitive recruitment market and focusing on retention and employee development. In 2006, they became the Global HR Manager at Norkom Technologies, where they successfully scaled the organization from 90 to over 350 employees, leading to its acquisition by BAE Systems Detica. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the HR Manager EMEA at Detica. Blanaid then held contract positions as an HR Manager at The Irish Times from April 2012 to October 2012, and at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland from October 2012 to December 2013. In 2013, they joined Automattic as the European HR Manager, a role they held until April 2014. Finally, since February 2015, Blanaid O'Regan has been the Director of People and Culture at SIRO.
Blanaid O'Regan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from University College Cork, which they completed between the years 1986 and 1989. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management Ireland in 1998. Later, in 2000 to 2001, Blanaid earned a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology from University College Cork.
