Kelly Powell has extensive experience in category management within the food and hospitality sectors, holding prominent positions since 1988. Currently serving as Category Manager at SIR Corp since May 2011, Kelly oversees substantial annual purchases and negotiates contracts for competitive pricing and value-added offerings. Previously, at Compass Group Canada from April 2005 to May 2011, Kelly managed $110 million in purchases, focusing on Facility Management agreements. At Prime Restaurants of Canada Inc., from April 1998 to April 2005, Kelly was accountable for $75 million in purchases across a network of 165 restaurants and successfully negotiated terms with 225 suppliers. Earlier experience includes roles as Merchandising Manager and Category Manager Assistant at A&P. Educational qualifications include a PMAC certificate from Humber College and a CITT certificate in Traffic and Transportation from CITT - Toronto.
