Jason Mosley is an experienced researcher and academic with a focus on African studies and public policy. Currently serving as an Associate Senior Researcher at SIPRI since April 2020, Mosley also holds positions as a Research Associate at the African Studies Centre, Oxford University and as Managing Editor for the Journal of Eastern African Studies. In addition, Mosley is a non-resident Public Policy Fellow at the Heritage Institute for Policy Studies and has previously been an Associate Fellow for the Africa Programme at Chatham House. With significant consultancy experience, Mosley has worked as a Lead Consultant for the Danish Demining Group and served as a Senior Advisor for the International Law and Policy Institute. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in African Studies from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in History and Linguistics from the University of New Hampshire.
