Vinal Lakhani is a Senior Scientist at Simulations Plus, Inc., where tenure began in January 2018, progressing through roles as Scientist II and Scientist I. Concurrently, Vinal served as Scientist I at DILIsym Services, focusing on enhancing SimPops capabilities and contributing to the development of DILIsym, RENAsym, and RADAsym software and models. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nationwide Children's Hospital and The Ohio State University under the mentorship of Dr. Jayajit Das from September 2015 to December 2017. Vinal holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology with a concentration in Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics was also obtained.
