Casper Lassenius serves as the Vice Head of Department for Research at Aalto University since January 2009, overseeing the Computer Science Department. Currently, Lassenius is also an Associate Professor and has held pro tem professorships at Aalto University and Simula Research Laboratory, where there is a focus on developing the IT Management area at OsloMet. In addition, Lassenius contributes as an Associate Editor for Agile Practices at IEEE Software and has been a Visiting Research Scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management since April 2014, previously holding a similar position from March 2010 to June 2011. Lassenius's academic foundation includes a D.Sc. (Tech) in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completed in 2006.
