Megan Parkes has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Megan served as the Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at Silver Cross Hospital starting in 2017. Prior to that, they were an Alliance Attending Physician at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago from 2016 to 2017. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Physician at the Marianjoy Medical Group. Megan also had a role as the Medical Director at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital from 2013 to 2015.

Megan Parkes obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science/Psychology from Bradley University in 2002. Megan then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center, graduating in 2007. Megan furthered their education by completing an Executive MBA, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 2019 to 2021.
