Niall McAteer is an experienced Senior System Engineer currently working at Silicon since September 2020, where previous roles included Service Desk Manager, Service Desk Team Lead, and Services Engineer. Prior to that, Niall spent nearly six years at Care NZ Limited as a Systems Engineer, responsible for the entire IT infrastructure, and began as an I.T. Support Engineer, contributing as a founding member of a small team. Niall's earlier experience includes a position as an I.T. Support Engineer at Automated Music Systems and as a Field Service and In-House I.T. Engineer at RiteWeigh Ltd, focusing on weighbridge systems and customized automation. Niall holds a Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering from Technological University Dublin.
