Gwendolyn Evans is a Collaborative Forestry Specialist at Sierra Institute for Community and Environment, where responsibilities include coordinating forest stewardship and restoration projects and ensuring NEPA compliance for federal lands. Previously, Gwendolyn served as the Environmental Impact Program Manager at Eden Reforestation Projects, developing forest monitoring systems and supporting global survey teams. Gwendolyn has a strong background in remote sensing, GIS, and environmental education, with roles as a Remote Sensing & GIS Specialist and Project Inventory and Monitoring Systems Coordinator. Prior experiences include emergency response during the COVID-19 pandemic, research assisting at the University of Michigan, and significant contributions during a Peace Corps tenure focused on agricultural extension. Gwendolyn holds a Master of Science in Natural Resources & Environment from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Society, and Environment from the University of Minnesota.
