Erica Brand Portnoy is a Partner in the Brand Integrity & Innovation Group at Sideman & Bancroft LLP since February 2012, specializing in brand protection, fraud investigation, and intellectual property theft. With a focus on protecting corporate brands, Erica counsels clients and collaborates with law enforcement agencies for criminal prosecutions related to fraud and counterfeiting. Prior experience includes serving as an Attorney at Bingham McCutchen from September 2006 to January 2012 and as a Copywriter at Gap Inc. from August 2000 to May 2003. Erica holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law (2006) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania (2000).
