Bryan Dobbs is a Principal at Shumaker & Sieffert, a highly regarded patent law firm, since December 2015, where the firm is recognized for its quality and expertise in patent prosecution. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Counsel and Associate at Plumsea Law, Attorney at Ditthavong & Steiner, P.C., and Associate at Oblon Spivak. Bryan started a legal career as a Summer Associate preparing content for the ITC Law Blog and has externed at the U.S. Department of Energy and the USPTO. Before transitioning to law, Bryan worked as an Associate Electrical Engineer at Sargent & Lundy, supporting various power plant systems. Education includes a law degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
