Roger Li has worked in the IT field since 2000. Roger started their career at AAA Networks as a Citrix & Sr. Network Engineer, where they were responsible for implementing network and system design and migrating 50 to 400 users from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 environment. In 2002, they joined RMCI / Office of Personnel Management as a Sr. Server/Network Engineer and worked on a DSS project, Dell SAN CX300 and CX500, McData Switch, Clustering (3 node Exchange), (2 node file and print). In 2005, they joined Avanade as a Project Lead and was responsible for designing, architecting, implementing and consolidating for IRS HCTC contract. In 2006, they joined Unisys/TSA as a SAN and Backup Team Lead and was the Technical Lead on Disaster Recovery Team. In 2010, they worked for two companies, Hewlett-Packard as an HP Technical Consultant and Trusted Mission Solutions Inc. as a Sr. Integration Engineer. At Hewlett-Packard, they served as a SME Subject Matter Expert and technical advisor for FDA and Buccaneer engineering group, TIER 3 support for Email Migration issues. At Trusted Mission Solutions Inc., they were responsible for providing technical support for Citrix XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop, Web Interface, Provisioning, SQL 2005/2008 and VMWare ESX4i and Windows 2008 R2. In 2011, they joined Clovis, a division of Eliassen Group as a SR. Infrastructure Engineer/Virtualization/VDI and served as Senior SME role at Joint Chief of Staff. In 2013, they joined ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC / DOJ EOUSA as a Sr. VDI Engineer and served as Senior VDI SME role to Dept. of Justice. In 2014, they joined Freddie Mac as a Virtualization Engineer SME and provided technical recommendation to leadership through all project stages phase for small and large-scale deployments, migrations, virtualization and core infrastructure deployment. In 2015, they joined SHR Consulting Group as a Sr. System Engineer Lead and was responsible for overseeing all projects deployment and recommending establishing ERB (Engineering Review Board) to overview all projects prior to transitioning out of Engineering division.
Roger Li has an Associate's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University, as well as certifications from various institutions. These include VCP 5 (2012), Citrix Certified Sales Professional 2012 (2012), Symantec NetBackup Data Protection / SCP (2009), ITIL Foundation (2008), MCSA (2007), MCDBA (2002), MCSE (2001), CCA (1998), and CCNA (2002). Roger also attended Wakefield High School.
