David Rothzeid is currently the Vice President at Shield Capital, where responsibilities include sourcing deal flow, performing due diligence, setting valuations, negotiating term sheets, and supporting start-ups in frontier technology relevant to commercial and national security sectors. In addition, Rothzeid serves as a Board Member at Danti and a Board Observer for Albedo and Overwatch Imaging, alongside a role as Staff Officer with the US Air Force Reserve, focusing on acquisition integration. Previous experience includes significant positions in the United States Air Force and the Defense Innovation Unit, where leadership in acquisition pathways and operational management was prominent. Rothzeid holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
