Islam Abdel Fattah is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in subsea hardware management and project engineering. Currently serving as the Subsea Hardware Team Lead at Shell since October 2020, Islam oversees a team providing in-house subsea hardware support while collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines. Prior roles at Shell include EPC and Trees Package Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the delivery of subsea trees and managing significant budget projects. Prior to Shell, Islam worked with BG Egypt in various capacities, including Interface Manager and Principal Subsea Engineer, leading multiple projects and achieving significant milestones in operations assurance and equipment integrity. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo and Chartered Engineer status, Islam demonstrates a strong foundation in engineering principles complemented by successful project execution and stakeholder management throughout a diverse career in the oil and gas industry.
