Kara Moore is an accomplished designer with extensive experience in architecture and urban design. Currently serving as a Designer at SHED Architecture & Design since November 2015, Kara previously worked as a Design Intern at Neil M. Denari Architects, Inc., where responsibilities included producing graphics and managing the eight-hundred-page monograph "MASS X." As a Research Associate at cityLAB at UCLA, contributions involved research assistance and publication design for architecture-related projects. Kara also served as a Graduate Assistant for the UCLA A.UD Architecture Lecture Series, handling audio-visual tasks for guest lectures, and assisted in teaching at the Jumpstart Summer Institute. Early career experience includes working as a Design Intern at Bureau for Architecture and Design on a community improvement project that received an AIA Merit Award. Education includes a Master's Degree in Architecture from UCLA, a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and additional studies at École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Val de Seine.
