Karla M. Jackson has a strong background in interior design and healthcare design. Karla M. started their career in 1990 as an Interior Designer at Parkhill, Smith & Cooper and worked there until 1996. Karla M. then joined Industrial Design Corporation / CH2M Hill as a Senior Interior Designer from 1996 to 1998. Karla then moved on to Page Southerland Page, where they worked as a Senior Healthcare Designer from 1998 to 2005. Currently, Karla is the Principal / Design Director at studioSIX5, a position they have held since 2005.

Karla M. Jackson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, which they obtained from Texas Tech University from 1978 to 1982. Karla M. later pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Design from the same university, completing it from 1986 to 1989.
