Paul de Nazelle has diverse work experience in various companies. Paul started their career at Renault as a Research Engineer from March 2010 to February 2013. Paul then joined iOpti S.A.S as a Co-Founder from November 2014 to July 2016. Following that, they worked at Institut de Recherche Technologique SystemX as a Research Engineer from March 2013 to July 2016, and later as the Head of "Simulation and Optimisation" Research team from January 2015 to May 2017. Paul then transitioned to Forsee Power, where they served as a Mechanical Design Office Manager from May 2017 to April 2019, and subsequently as a Traction Batteries System Engineer from April 2019 to September 2022. Currently, they are working as the Design Office Manager at Shark Robotics from October 2022.

Paul de Nazelle completed their Master 2 degree in Techniques Avancées en Calcul de Structures from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay in the period between 2006 and 2010. Paul then pursued further education and earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2010 to 2013.
