Heather Alexander is a seasoned professional in the literary and children's media industry, currently serving as a Book-to-Media Scout at XanderStoryScouts since February 2018 and as a Book and Literary Scout for Creative Development at Sesame Workshop since January 2021. With a robust background as an author and editor since 2002, Heather has created and edited numerous storybooks and educational content, earning recognition on Amazon's Best Books of 2021 and the National Science Teachers of America's Best STEM Books of 2021 lists. Previous roles include Children's Nonfiction Editor at Epic for Kids, a Literary and Book Consultant for Sesame Workshop/Apple TV+, and Senior Vice President at Parachute Publishing, where Heather oversaw the production and editing of more than 50 titles annually. Heather holds a BA in English from Cornell University.
