Jonathan Stubbs is a seasoned professional in the visual arts sector, currently serving as a Senior Relationship Manager for the British Council since February 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Deputy Director at Film and Video Umbrella, where Jonathan collaborated with cultural partners and artists to produce international artist films and successfully secured Arts Council NPO funding. At the Royal Academy of Arts, Jonathan held several key positions, including Head of HLF Project Delivery, where Jonathan led a significant £2.3 million project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Senior Major Gifts Manager, contributing to a £56 million capital redevelopment. Jonathan also worked as a Festival Officer at Bath Festivals, managing relationships with funders and artists for annual music and literature festivals. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Falmouth University, completed in 2007.
