Mary Brennan has extensive experience in benefits management and human resources. Mary started their career at Alumnae Resources as the Director of Counseling and Curriculum from 1995 to 1998. Mary then joined California College of the Arts as a Human Resources Associate, focusing on benefit administration and payroll management for faculty members from 1998 to 2006. Following that, they worked at California Academy of Sciences as an HRIS Specialist and later as a Benefits Manager, managing benefits programs for over 600 employees from 2006 to 2013. Currently, Mary is working at Sequoia Living since 2014 as a Benefits Manager, responsible for managing group benefits plans for three Continuing Care Retirement Communities and providing administration and customer service for company pension plans.
Mary Brennan attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History. Mary then went on to pursue further education at John F. Kennedy University, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Career Development.
