Amalraj Chandrakumar is an Electrical Project Engineer at Sentinel Power Services, Inc. since May 2023. Previously, Amalraj worked as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at YD Engineers/YHW LLP from December 2016 to December 2021, focusing on power system design and analysis for projects in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the Maldives. This role involved extensive work with HV, MV, and LV power systems utilizing Etap and SKM software for various studies including Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Harmonic Studies. Amalraj's early experience includes a trainee position at Ceylon Electricity Board in 2015, where training included collaboration with maintenance and operational teams at a coal steam turbine power plant. Amalraj holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
