Katie McMurray, M.Ed., CDMS, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Consultant at Sensory Tool House, LLC, a company founded by Katie in February 2021, focused on community engagement in Thurston County. Prior to this role, Katie worked as an Activity Coach specializing in the professional goal attainment program at Grant & Associates from August 2017 to 2021, helping clients surmount psycho-social barriers related to career advancement post-injury. From 2015 to 2021, Katie also held the position of CDMS Vocational Counselor at Grant & Associates, providing vocational testing and counseling to guide clients in making informed occupational choices. Katie's earlier experience includes teaching 4th grade and 6th grade at Yelm Community Schools between 2006 and 2013. Educational credentials include a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Madonna University.
