Marguerite Dunning has extensive work experience in various roles related to cybersecurity and program and portfolio management. Marguerite currently works at Sempra as the Cybersecurity ZTA Strategic Program Director, where they lead the roadmap development process and implements micro strategies in the areas of PKI, DLP, Automated Data Discovery, and Secure File Transfer. Prior to Sempra, Marguerite worked at Charter Communications and Kimberly-Clark in similar cybersecurity strategic program director roles. Marguerite also has experience at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a Sr. Portfolio/Program Leader and Chief Scrum Master, where they oversaw strategic initiatives and provided thought leadership. Furthermore, Marguerite worked at Schneider National as a Sr. Program/Project Manager and Product Owner, and at UnitedHealth Group and Birds Eye Foods in various program management and product owner roles. Their career began at UnitedHealth Group as a Health Insurance Underwriting Manager and later held positions as a Leadership Apprentice and Business System Analyst.
Marguerite Dunning received their MBA in Master of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University between 1994 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed their BS in Management & Marketing at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 1988 to 1992. Marguerite also holds multiple additional certifications, including Certified Information Privacy Manager from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2020 and PMP - Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2007.
