Randall Besier is an Analyst on the Seminal Healthcare growth equity investment team. Randall graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University with a BS in Business and Engineering.

Prior to joining Seminal Healthcare, Randall worked as a financial analyst at Suvoda, a fast-growing technology company in the clinical trial software market, where he created and managed their new revenue recognition model by consolidating data from 3 different systems, provided analytics, and produced a comprehensive monthly reporting package including analysis and commentary. He also worked to help with software and implementation projects to improve data accuracy and efficiency.

During his time at Drexel University, Randall completed three co-ops with J.P. Morgan, Mavenlink, and Chubb. At J.P. Morgan, Randall was an analyst in the Chief Investment Office for the Credit Portfolio. There he worked with portfolio managers and traders to analyze portfolio performance as well as provide daily T+1 P&L analysis. At Mavenlink, a highly successful Saas company in the resource and project management market, Randall worked on the Business Operations team to create BI data models for sales pipeline, revenue by contract & feature requests, and sales conversion rates. He also automated their revenue forecast by client for client success to focus on key clients for renewal. At Chubb, Randall worked in the Financial Control Unit where he completed accounting reviews for journal entries, premiums, and account reconciliations. He also worked with the Financial Analyst Team to optimize management reporting and reinsurance performance analysis.

Randall enjoys playing soccer and tennis as well as playing the drums. He also likes traveling to visit family in Europe, photography, and volunteering with nature conservation centers.
