Robert Crumpton has worked in the sales and marketing industry since 1991, when they began their career as a New Business Development Manager for Lucent Technologies - AT&T. In 1996, they joined the original WAM!NET Sales & Marketing management team, and directed and managed the Graphic Arts sales force to more than 1,000 signed contracts and more than 600 network releases. In 1999, they launched mid-market/channel sales for TriSense Software, and in 2001, they became the Vice President of Sales for Gearworks, Inc., where they immediately impacted the wireless logistics management software organization by leading the sales team to the acquisition of 10 elite level new customers and enterprise contracts totaling more than $3.0 million in value. In 2003, Robert co-founded Xteam Equity Partners, LLC, a private equity firm that partners with investors to buy promising companies with breakthrough growth potential. Robert also co-founded High Impact Sports, LLC in 2008 and Kiley Energy in 2020, where they served as an Energy Consultant. In 2018, they became a Co-Founder, Sales & Marketing Commercialization Strategist and Category Design Expert for Space Monkey Partners. Most recently, in 2021, Robert became Vice President of Business Development for SellHound.
Robert Crumpton attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1982 to 1983. Robert then went on to the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from 1983 to 1986.
